an investment firm focusing on growth stage software companies, and oversees the operations and business development. Ni founded Amador with two of her colleagues from the investment team at Northgate Capital, an investment fund with $5B in AUM.
At Northgate Capital, Ni started in the back office managing capital calls and distributions for over 40 funds while also preparing and completing audited financial statements for 12 funds and the management company. Ni later rotated to the middle office performing special projects for the CFO, including IR requests, performance benchmarking, J-Curve cash flow analysis and operational improvements that impacted Northgate’s global operations. Prior to founding Amador, Ni was a member of the investment team, providing data analysis to support investment decisions.
Previously, Ni was a senior hedge fund administrator at Bank of New York Mellon where she supervised junior accountants and oversaw twenty-four hedge funds with over $1B in AUM and the investments consisted of Domestic and International Equity, Bond, Futures, Options, Credit Default Swaps and Bank Debt securities.
Ni holds an Master of Business Administration with Finance major from the University of San Francisco, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the China Agricultural University.

Prior to founding NorthMountain, Min was a Senior Controller at Aduro Advisors, where she served seven venture clients with over 30 entities,

Prior to founding NorthMountain, Min was a Senior Controller at Aduro Advisors, where she served seven venture clients with over 30 entities, including funds, SPVs, C Corp blockers, management companies and GP entities. Min also advised her clients on best practices to make sure their actions complied with LPAs or industry standard practices. Min was well liked by her clients, their LPs, and their audit/tax/legal teams.
Before joining Aduro, Min worked in the back office of Northgate Capital, overseeing the accounting and reporting of more than ten direct investment funds as well as several internal entities structured as multi series LLCs. She also worked closely with the middle office to help build the valuation models and estimate the fair value of the portfolio companies for audit.
Previously, Min was an auditor at PwC and KPMG. While at PwC Venture Capital and Emerging Market practice, Min audited well-known VC clients and bio-tech companies and developed a strong interest in the VC industry. At KPMG, she served high profile financial service clients with a focus on high risk audit areas such as valuation and complex financial instruments.
Min is a CPA licensed in California (active) and Michigan (inactive). She holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Michigan State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics.
